About Us

The Midwest Aerosol Association was founded in 1971 as the Aerosol Industry Development Association to provide a meeting place for people involved with the aerosol industry in the Midwestern United States.

The Midwest Aerosol Association is a nonprofit organization consisting of companies in all phases of the aerosol packaging industry. Our membership consists of private label contract packagers, brand name marketers, component suppliers, and industry consultants. The range of markets served includes Automotive, Food, Household, Paint, Personal Care, Pharmaceutical products.

MAA seeks to communicate facts about aerosols through the education of it's members and the general public. In order to unsure continued growth and consumer acceptance of the aerosol package, the public needs to be educated as to the environmental soundness of the aerosol. Aerosol's have not contained CFC's since 1977 and are 99 percent recyclable.
